  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 3 eggs well beaten
  • Steps

  • Slowly add cornmeal to boiling water stirring constantly
  • When smooth cool
  • Add eggs butter salt and sugar
  • Alternately add milk and flour and baking powder
  • Bake in 8″ square pan at 400 for 30 min.

  • 174 grams Einkorn flour
  • 3/4 cups corn mill
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • Pre heat stove 425

    Ingredients

  • 1 cup fine corn meal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut palm sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 minced jalapeños (save 12 thin jalapeño slices for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup Tex Mex shredded Cheese
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • Steps

  • Preheat
    oven to 375 degrees.
  • Mix corn meal, flour, salt and baking soda together.
  • In a separate bowl, beat two eggs and butter together. Add sugar, buttermilk, minced jalapeños and 3/4 of the Tex Mex cheese and mix until blended.
  • Add dry mixture to the wet mixture and mix.
  • Lightly spray a 12 cup muffin tin with vegetable oil. Evenly distribute mixture into 12 muffin cups.

    Makes 1 loaf

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup corn meal
  • 1 tbsp Double acting baking powder
  • Steps

  • Add the ingredients to your bread pan EXACTLY in the order they are listed in the recipe
  • Set your bread machine to quick bread setting and hit start. NOTE: right at tyhe start of the baking cycle remove the kneading paddle to prevent tearing the bread when removing from bread pan after it’s cooked.
  • Immediately remove from bread pan to cool after cooking. Place on wire rack to cool. Let cool for 1 hour before slicing
